This was an experiment in combining pattern motifs with elements of freeform in the joining process. It was quite chunky and rustic.Here are some close ups of the construction.

Here are the charts I used to make the motifs, feel free to make your own version using any cotton DK. A lot of the yarn I used was unravelled from garments!
