THWAC Christmas 2021 Pudding Project

Thornton Heath Women's Art Collective or 'THWAC' is the acronym for many creative women  in and around the area in South London, who contributed hats for this impromptu 'pop up' pudding installation using one of the 'Rocks of Croydon' as a basis.

When dismantled, the hats will go to charities which help the homeless. That's my Christmas card design for next year , sorted.

Selling online

I used to do quite a lot of selling on ebay, selected items.Scarves and things which are cheap and easy to send through the mail.It can be time consuming, but it is nice when you make a sale and something goes to someone who wants it.

Recently sold on ebay, proceeds to go to the Alzheimer's Society, the scarf below is by Jacqmar, made of Qiana, an artificial silk popular in the 1970's.

This ranunculus and sweet pea design tablecloth below  by Vera Neumann was bought by an American collector.

I found this 34" square silk scarf in a bag outside a charity shop, the assistant said it was for rubbish collection, I sold it on ebay and gave the proceeds to the charity.

I also had an Etsy shop for a while, and it was fairly successful, but I chop and change my offering and it just confuses people, so I stopped doing it.
I'd like to recommend a friend's, she makes wonderful mosaic things out of vintage china.
I bought one of her birds as an Anniversary present

Each one is unique and handmade by her, here in South London.
