Birthday Blanket

Made using 4mm hook, DK acrylic, Join As You Go method, a blanket for someone special

Just finished a lapghan for an elderly relative-I didn't have enough of one yarn to do the background one colour, so started the JAYG from the middle using the colours I had (see diagram).

It measures about 32" by 45".I used acrylic DK and a 4mm hook.

I almost think I prefer it- necessity is the mother of invention, as ever!

Baby blankets are still my 'go to' project when I don't want to have to think too hard..love playing with brights and neutrals..whatevers in my basket
