Queen Ann Lace

Found a vintage pattern for a shell top, made using strips of Queen Ann lace. I had some silk from Sharp Works, a super yarn shop in Herne Hill. https://www.sharpworks.co.uk/
Inspired by freeform crochet and things made by people like Prudence Mapstone, I fashioned this version for a relative.

I found this quite a good way of using up yarns where you only have one or two skeins. I think it has a kind of Beatles, Yellow Submarine or Sgt.Pepper vibe. Hope so, anyway. Psychedelic!!
